wallpaper design & illustration
This page shows a selection of wallpaper projects with brands such as Ted Baker alongside commissioned exhibitions from the Arts Council.

I was approached by Ted Baker and commissioned to design a bespoke collection of digital wallpaper designs for the brand's first Central American store in Panama City. I worked in collaboration with the art director to develop the concept and artworks to align with the brands fun and eccentric styling.

Concept development was based on research into the characteristics of Panama, specifically that it has one of most diverse range of bird species in the world. With birds being a focal point the species were carefully selected in order to reflect the brand’s identity of British heritage, which is how it is known and loved across the globe.

A further development was to set the birds onto cityscape backdrops featuring iconic buildings of London and placed into frames with bird wing textures, maps and geometric patterns to reflect the concept.

A collaboration with artist, Terry Shave, commissioned by The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery as part of a longer-term series of exhibitions entitled ‘Future Art City’ that aim to commission and promote artists with an affinity to Stoke-on-Trent. Mixed media painting by Terry Shave displayed on top of wallpaper print by Sophie Bard.
